Robinhood makes its Indonesian market debut through the acquisition of brokerage firm Buana Capital Sekuritas and licensed crypto trader Pedagang Aset Kripto. The deal, slated to close by mid-2026, signals the trading platform’s aggressive Asia-Pacific expansion. Financial terms remain undisclosed.

Pieter Tanuri, majority shareholder of both firms, will transition to a strategic advisory role, ensuring continuity and guiding Robinhood’s local integration.
